This was my experience with one person at the dealership, but it made an extremely positive impression, and I definitely don't mind sharing it to send some buisness there way since it's the least I could do after they helped me out of a tight spot.Īlso.Dealership: L0556 Wilde East Towne Honda Wilde East Town Honda Are You A High-Performing Dealership Service Manager Looking For An Opportunity To Work With The Best In The Business? Do You Want To Be A Part Of A Company That Values Your Talent And Experience? We are growing…FAST. I don't drive a Honda either, I drive a Ford. This advisor goes back to the service center, gets a plug and a rasp, comes back to the gas station and plugs the tire herself, filled it up, and checked that it was holding air herself, and did not charge me. The advisor grabbed an air compressor from the shop, but the tire was losing pressure too fast. the service advisor was unable to find a tech who would plug, or patch the tire before they left to go home (Fair, no one wants to work late) I ended walking over and asking if they would be able to help, because it was 90 some odd degrees, and I was not going to change a tire in that heat if I could avoid it. I recently got a nail in my tire on the beltline at around 4:15 pm, and was able to get to the gas station across from Zimbrick Honda I have no experience at all with these two dealerships so I'm completely neutral at the moment, so any experience would be very much appreciate (in particular the quality of their mechanics), both good and bad. To be honest, we would gladly have brought it to our local mechanics if that was an option as we'll see him anyway in a few months for a gearbox oil change. It's an old car (~14 years with ~150k miles) but we still love it very much, and we'd like to avoid ourselves some issues as we're precisely trying to solve potential issues and not to create new ones. So I basically have two options in the Madison area: Wilde East Towne Honda and Zimbrick Honda.I'd like to please get your experience on their service centers (in particular for recalls, but not only). The recall was issued a bit more than a year ago, but I waited because I know it's a mess to deal with these things right when they pop (they don't know what to do about it yet, they don't have parts for it yet, their mechanics lack experience on the very recent recalls, etc). We need to bring our old 2nd gen Honda Fit to a Honda dealership for a recall (inspecting the driveshaft and eventually replacing it for free).
